Military Improvements

A few military improvements of the civil war were that the bullets were different, and rifling was used.  Rifling allowed for more deadlier precision and aim of the bullet.  Bullets were changed to minie bulls which were made from lead and were cone shaped.  These were deadly bullets which oftened killed on impact.  Ironclad warships were also implemented.  Gatling guns were also deadly inventions which crippled enemy forces.  The civil war was considered the first modern war.
